Sometimes , we as women tend to forget the importance of self love. We so busy taking care of everyone around us especially in relationships, that when it comes to us , we are so exhausted. I can almost say be selfish with yourself & that includes - being selfish with your love , your attention & most importantly...be selfish with your golden heart. 

I'm not saying taking care of others is a bad thing. If they return the 'blessing' then, Thank you but if not...keep it steppin' baby girl & use that energy to focus on yourself.

Who copied who, I don't know but all I can say is : Thank you! Just saved me from all those bad hair days or plain laziness.

Head wraps can be styled in different ways according to your own unique way. You can give it a elegant Audrey Hepburn look,  an edgy Solange Knowles look or even a boho Nicole Richie.

Rita Ora has been a busy bee lately , flying all over the world , being the face of multiple fashion houses including yours truly _ Adidas. In collaboration with Adidas , Ora helped them design their casual sports wear line since last year. A-Listers like Queen B has been rocking these outfits.

Of course the British bombshell didn't stop there. She has also become the face for Italian Fashion House, Roberto Cavalli Autumn/Winter 2014 Campaign. In her Marilyn Monroe inspired photo shoot , Rita sealed the deal as the Face of Roberto Cavalli Fashion House.

Do we really know when is it enough ? When to stop standing behind 'others' just in case they might fall?  

Sometimes caring about others can be either a huge act of kindness but it can also be a curse. You might send them text messages ,check up on them or even visit them out of the blue but do they do that to you as well ? I mean ,If you care about those around you ,which Is perfectly normal, you would make time to check if they still doing okay...If they still coping. 

So if any of you  have that friend who always have your back, drop them a text or give them a quick visit or phone call & let them know you got their backs as well. You might just save them from falling down that cliff...

The fear to Love

part 3

All she could hear is the words 'my wife found out about us'  repeating it self like the way history repeats itself. Is this her history playing over like Deja Vu in full motion ?

Does she leave him , or does she continue to carrying his infidelity around like a mother carries her unborn child in her womb? Was the imported chocolates , romantic dates & long talks about the forever's all a part of a sick & twisted episode where he gets the vulnerable girl to fall in love with him ? Or did he just hide his marriage because he was falling for her to ?

His promises of leaving his forever to build on their forever,  played like a classical piece to the beating heart of hers. But she soon realised that she cannot continue to love what's not hers...

All caught up in silence,  she looked at him with those eyes, those eyes she saw her mother looked at her father while he plead for forgiveness after his infidelity was born . What does a women do when a man she gave her all to ,breaks her heart into a million pieces? What does she do with this broken , confused & greedy heart?

You know what she does?


She breaths in, & even though shuffling promises down her throat & telling her that he loves her more... she let's him go.


You know that wall he broke down...she's building it up from scratch again & this time with a stronger foundation!

& she calls it,  The fear to Love...

Part 2,

Things started changing. All of a sudden she became to clingy, to attached & unattractive according to him. But what they don't understand is ,that she studied this man. She knew he doesn't like his eggs scrambled,  his toast to dark & his tea to white. She knew that he hates rap music because he found his peace in soul music. She knew him because she fell in love with him.

Still building & holding onto those forever's , she gave herself to him last night when they engraved each other's feelings in their genes... She woke up next to him, he didn't look at her with eyes saying "the most beautiful thing is,waking up next to you" but he showed her came first...He grabbed his phone & his face lid up with despair ,anger & disappointment. They say a picture paints a thousand words & this spelled out,  mistress.

She saw the signs. She saw it coming but she believed that he was hers... she loved him like her own man. She kissed him with her eyes closed , looking into his eyes was her escape from the world... but what does she have now?  A heart that is beating fast , love that is so strong & a ear hearing him say "My wife found out about us"

Part 1

Some may say that she brought this to herself or say she just playing victim, but she's just a women. A women who fell in love with a man that she think she knew...



You see , he always had a trick up his sleeve, buying her flowers , expensive perfume or imported chocolates but far more to this  situation...
They were the ideal couple in her eyes , happiness all the way & no arguments in sight! Everyday were sunny skies & love blossomed like flowers in spring time & her smile stayed winning & he was the reason for it. His caring presence & sweet words fell like morning dew on her ears , & somehow  that wall she build ,came crumbling down like the great Wall of Britain & she trusted him... she gave him naked soul ,vulnerable heart & shared all her insecurities. You see , his forever was build in her irises & he touched her like his bravery was In her skin & when they together ,their troubles just flew away into the far east...

You see , she knew him but even so ,even though he looked at her ,with eyes filled with forever's, she could see that there were something that he was hiding...

Who is she? 

Who is this that appears like the dawn,  fair as the moon , bright as the sun , majestic as the stars in procession?  Who is she ? , they asked. Who's this that is clothed in dignity ,who walks with her head held high? ... Who is she?  , they continued to ask. 

They couldn't understand how she did it. How she still laughed after her heart was shattered into pieces. How she picked up those very same pieces and moulded it together, & still continued to love unconditionally. Who is she? 

She was disappointed , she forgave. She was belittled , she forgave , she was betrayed && lied to...yet she forgave them. Why doesn't she believe in revenge ? Why doesn't she hold grudges ? 
What's her driving force ? What makes her move forward when the rest of the world holds her down ?

They want to know her secret. 
Who is she?...

With tears streaming down her rosy cheeks. Eyes fixed &  glazing at  them , she finally answered. 

" I  am who I am!  I am my pain & my happiness.. I am my own. I find strength in those who hurt me with their words that cuts through me like a knife . My unpleasant circumstances drives me to become a greater person. My enemies makes me want to succeed...
I've learned in my silence , that change is inevitable & its up to me to make the best of it "

Independent Women

This quote if I may say so, can create a earthquake lol but what guys don't understand is that most women strive for this : having a man that's loyal & being successful& independent at the same time. You know , she want to be able to hold her man down when he struggles but then again , most men have a huge ego, they don't like that. They not about that life but on the other side of the coin, they feel that they need to take care of their women. But now I ask ,where do you draw the line ?  He wants to take care of you and you on the other hand, wants loyalty while you float your own boat... 

I'm all about independence ! But be careful , this is a common mistake by women. Women tend to be over independent & makes the guy feel weak. Guys don't like weak women or women that can't stand on their own feet but allow him to do something for you. It helps feed their ego if it's safe to say so. 

Independence is important , it shows men that you are strong & smart enough to hustle on your own but remember  to find that balance between being independent & selfish.

Life handed me some lemons & I had to choose if I'm going to eat it or make lemonade. Obviously I ate it :) because I like lemons.  Not with tequila because I don't drink. But what am I trying to say?  Well it's simple. In life you make choices everyday like if your going to curl your hair today or wear it straight. , if you'd smile today or let the world wonder why you look like you ate 20 lemons & those are the simple choices we make everyday. I've learned that even if some situations breaks you down , you can't stay bitter & sad & walk around like that because you know what , nobody , not even your parents will make you feel better . It has to start with you. You are your greatest support system. You'd be surprise how strong you can be.
