Woollies say what!
The wind has blown some lovely news past my huge ears...Pharrell Williams is collaborating with Woolworths South Africa!!! .
This strategic collaboration is the first of its kind in South African retail. Woolies be making history! The benefit of this will be that Woolies values combined with Pharrel's will help change the lives of many people on this earth. Pharrel will take up to role as style director in this ground breaking collaboration across a series of sustainability- focused projects. This partnership will definitely sow a lot of fruits.
There are a few ways for customers to get involved & show their support. These to are examples :
1. Give with us
Pharrel partnering with MySchool , will encourage customers to help them raise R100 million for schools across South Africa by just swiping their MySchool MyPlanet MyVillage cards. The more you swipe the more you donate.
2. Create with us
Woolies who collaborated with Bionic Yard who creates fabric out of recycled plastic. Designers are invited to submit their designs. Pharrel will choose his favourite designs & they these limited addition t-shirts will be available in Woolies all around the county. The winner receives R25000 prize money.

I Still Feel They Should've Used A Local Star With International Recognition Rather That Will Relate To The Locals Coz I Mean It Is Woolies South Africa Not Woolies U.S ..
ReplyDeleteYes, I get you. However, Woolworths is based on a British store called 'Marks and Spencers' therefore, they can use anyone.
DeleteI am glad it is Pharrell W. He represents fun, gentle and free spirit.
